AVRCD offers the following services to the public and commercial accounts in the goal of providing plants and education to sustain our environment and provide resources for future generations. 

Contract Growing

At AVRCD, we grow native and drought tolerant plants for a vareity of projects including but not limited to: habitat restoration, drough tolerant landscaping, rare plant propagtion, tree wind-breaks, erosion control, and botanical collections. Plants can be grown in any container size and quantity.  Contact us to start planning your project.

Nursery

The nursery is open to the public Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  Drought tolerant plants, native plants, trees, shrubs, grasses and wildflower seeds for sale.  Plants available can be seen  here.

Conservation Garden

Our goal is to demonstrate attractive and appropriate landscape designs for the AV and surrounding areas through native and drought tolerant plants.  To learn about our sponsorship opportunities or to be part of the garden click here.

Educational Programs

AVRCD is dedicated in educating the public on conservation. Schools may schedule field trips to the nursery & conservation garden. Visit our Kid's Corner for fun educational information and worksheets.
